HOW ENTRECÔTE’S SON GREW UP


Our story begins with a parting of ways from the team behind, Entrecôte. Now it’s
time for the young punk, Garçon, to step out. Opened in July 2018, Garçon serves
a menu inspired by the famous quality steakhouses of Paris, with sublime steak
frites, an abundance of champagne and oysters and a vibrant wine list.

It’s a place where everyone from the avant-garde to the bourgeois can come together,
much like Paris in the 80s. In the Paris end of Melbourne, we think it’s
found a perfect home.

QUALITÉ, LIBERTÉ, ÉGALITÉ, FRATERNITÉ


Like our Parisian counterparts, our emphasis is on palate pleasing, expertly cooked steak: sirloin, T-bone,

rump and an ever revolving cut du jour.

In keeping with the French foodie attitude, we’re very picky about what we’ll accept. We

only use prime beef, raised on volcanic soil, grass fed and hormone-free. We pay attention to

hand selection, and only use beef where we know the provenance - from the

farm to your table.

Our selection depends on what we can source from our trusted suppliers, so while

our line of cuts may change, our signature dish, the famous Steak Frites, is a porterhouse aka an entrecôte cut, served with Cafe de Paris butter or our own herb sauce. Superbe!
